Bonj Les Bains Beach Club, Hotel Amfora
Voted among the top 20 hottest beaches in Europe by The Times Online in 2010, Bonj les Bains is an elegant throwback to the 1930s, with its white stone colonnade nestled below pine trees on the eastern shore of the Hotel Amfora.
Part of the quality makeover of Hvar's Hotels by Suncani Hvar, the beach club is open to non-residents for a daily fee. The exclusive clubs comes complete with private cabanas, massages as the Sensori O wellness centre, sun beds, showers and a beach bar and restaurant.
Carpe Diem Beach Club
Long associated with the style and chic of Hvar Town, the Carpe Diem cocktail bar is one of the must-visit bars while on Hvar. Carpe Diem has branched out and opened its own beach club on the Pakleni Islands, with Stipanska Bay, one of the coolest places on the Adriatic coast.
Reached by water taxi, the Carpe Diem complex is comprised of two beaches against a backdrop of pine forests. There is a restaurant, pool, various terrace bars, and various sporting activities, such as a diving school and beach volleyball court, while guests can also indulge in a massage at the wellness centre.
The action heats up in the evening as the beach turns into one of the liveliest places on the coast, with a selection of international DJs providing the entertainment for some of the best parties of the summer. Open from May to the end of September.
Hula Hula Beach Club
Walking past the Hotel Amfora for about five minutes, the delightful Hula Hula Beach Club comes into view. Well-equipped for a day's relaxation, including restaurant and cocktail bar, Hula Hula is known for its after beach parties as well. Starting at 5pm, they are an ideal location to enjoy one of Hvar's stunning sunsets, while getting in the mood for a night of partying.
The beach clubs of Hvar offer a combination of luxury, party atmosphere and spectacular sunsets, all good reasons to head straight to the beach.
